Two teams from Swindon braved the cold weather of April 2nd at Farnham Park, Slough, for the first of this year’s Chicks with Sticks tournament.

The annual female single-sex competition, organised by Maidenhead Softball, takes place over a number of dates over the spring and summer.

The Panthers’ Ladies took on seven other teams in the A/B Grade group, while the Bomshells were among eight in the C/D Grade event.

Despite the cold weather, great fun was had all round. This will be the first of many tournaments attended by teams from Swindon this year – stay tuned to our news page for updates!
